By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 14, 2007

Bedding manufacturer Sleepking Therapedic/Crown Design Upholstery has named Paolo Macchione vice president of sales and marketing, a new position.

Macchione most recently was a sales representative for manufacturers and importers, including bedding producer Kingsdown, case goods producer Geovin and importer Eztia.

Prior to that, he worked in retail.

"Paolo brings vitality, integrity and comprehensive industry and marketing knowledge at both the retail and manufacturing level to the organization," Gerstl said.

Macchione added, "Through my past experience with Therapedic/Crown Design on the retail side of the business, I know that I am joining a company that is committed to providing value, service and competitive products that we can all take pride in selling to our dealers."
