National City, Calif. — Upholstery manufacturer Solomon West Mfg. Corp. and its divisions Solomon Factory Direct and Muebleria Casa Solomon staged a charity event to help the needy young and elderly in San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico.
A Solomon West crew built two living room sets in two hours at its National City factory, with one given away to a lucky person present at the event and the other delivered to the Boys & Girls Club of San Diego.
A third set was built and delivered to a hospice center in Tijuana before Christmas.
Solomon makes upholstered furniture and sells it directly to the public.
