Nourison rugs aid storm relief

Saddle Brook, N.J. — Nourison Rug supplied rugs for a one-day event in Boston created by O, The Oprah Magazine, and later donated the rugs to a hurricane relief effort.
About 5,000 people attended the O You! event at the Boston Convention Center to hear speakers on topics ranging from personal growth to finance to health and fitness. Workshop leaders included Suze Orman, Dr. Robin Smith, Stacey London, Nate Berkus and Jim Karas.
Nourison supplied 20 rugs for the event, which were used as part of the speakers' stages and in seating areas. The rugs were then donated to Architecture for Humanity's Model Home Program through Oprah's Angel Network for use in Hurricane Katrina rebuilding efforts in Biloxi, Miss.
"Nourison is honored to contribute rugs with the hope of helping each recipient's house feel a bit more like home," the company said.
