Payne gets Magnussen marketing post

High Point — Lynn A. Payne has been named director of marketing communications for importer Magnussen Home Furnishings.
She is responsible for the management of the company's advertising, public relations and market promotion programs, and reports to Ron Carpenter, vice president of marketing and business development.
Before joining Magnussen Home, Payne was retail point-of-purchase specialist for bedding maker Sealy, where she developed and coordinated merchandising concepts for the Sealy and Stearns & Foster brands and the gallery program.
Earlier, she was merchandise manager for High Point retailer FurniturelandSouth and art director for Coyne Beahm Advertising and Marketing.
