Carolina Rustica taps Hughes

Concord, N.C. — Home furnishings retailer Carolina Rustica has named industry veteran Keila Hughes as vice president of operations, a new position.
Hughes comes to the company from casual dining and metal bed producer Charleston Forge, where she worked for 18 years, most recently as vice president of sales.
Carolina Rustica sells a high-end line of furniture, accents, lighting and gourmet kitchen accessories. Its store, warehouse and call center are in Concord, N.C.
Hughes reports to CEO Richard Sexton. Her mission will be to help the company better serve its customers by streamlining customer service operations as well as warehousing.
