Las Vegas — Lyon Mercantile Group is teaming with credit data giant Equifax to introduce what it calls the most comprehensive business credit information in the industry.
Called the Enhanced Lyon Pride Credit Report, it will combine information from Lyon's database with Equifax's extensive commercial data to allow home furnishings and giftware providers to make informed credit risk decisions.
Lyon — which is based in Las Vegas and does pre-qualification of buyers for organizers of the Las Vegas and High Point markets — said the new report includes Lyon's industry-specific data and Equifax's banking and non-banking receivables history, such as telecommunications and utility information.
Enhancements include SIC codes, extensive banking trade data, and the Equifax Payment index, a tool to measure risk based on credit history and behavior.
"By joining forces with Equifax, we are able to enrich our highly regarded credit report with additional world-class trade data to give customers a powerful means of assessing risk while expanding their own customer base," said Rick Mantin, president of Lyon Mercantile.
Information on the new product is available online at www.lyoncredit.com or from the company at (800) 935-5966.
