Palliser appoints Murillo vice president of sales

Winnipeg, Manitoba — Armando Murillo has joined Palliser as vice president of sales for the southern United States and Latin America. Murillo has worked in the furniture industry for 12 years at the retail and wholesale levels, in Mexico, the United States and Canada. He has worked for companies including retailers The Brick, based in Edmonton, Alberta, and Sit 'n Sleep, Montebello, Calif., as well as for Serta and Sealy. Murillo, who reports to John Phillips, executive vice president of sales for Palliser, will relocate from Southern California to Texas. Derek Dupley continues as Murillo's counterpart, responsible for the northern United States.
