Peters named president of CR-Home's Cochrane
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 4, 2007
Las Vegas — Chromcraft Revington has promoted Paul Peters, former vice president of sales and marketing for Cochrane Furniture, to president of the Cochrane brand of CR-Home, the portfolio of home furnishings brands produced by Chromcraft Revington.
Peters' post is newly created and part of Chromcraft Revington's transition from a traditional divisional structure to one that coordinates the brands under the CR-Home management team.
Peters, whose background is in upholstery, reports to David Corbin, Chromcraft Revington's senior vice president. Corbin said Peters has helped Cochrane grow its casual contemporary upholstery and case goods business.
"His experience and his background in both sales and marketing will help us leverage the strengths of the company, particularly as we shift our focus to be more market driven and responsive to both consumers and customers," Corbin said.
Peters' promotion is one of several moves Chromcraft Revington has made in recent months, including hiring Corbin as corporate senior vice president for marketing, product and business development, and Dennis Valkanoff as senior vice president of sales.
Chromcraft Revington's other brands are Chromcraft, Peters-Revington, Silver Furniture and Sumter.
