Mattress Firm to acquire Las Vegas retailer
Bedtime Mattress operates 15 stores

HOUSTON — Mattress Firm, one of the nation’s largest bedding specialty retailers, is set to enter Las Vegas with the acquisition of Bedtime Mattress Co., a 15-store, Vegas-based mattress retailer operating as Bedtime and Mattress Direct.
Mattress Firm, based here, said it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Bedtime Mattress. Terms of the deal, expected to close within 45 days, weren’t disclosed.
With the acquisition, Mattress Firm will enter Nevada and become the largest mattress retailer in metro Las Vegas, the company said. The purchase will expand Mattress Firm’s total store count to nearly 370 stores in 33 markets in 20 states.
Bedtime and Mattress Direct stores will be rebranded as Mattress Firm stores.
