Wilmington, Del. — A dealer-owned Drexel Heritage store has opened on Brandywine Parkway here.
The 16,625-square-foot store is owned and operated by Barbara Goodman Cresswell and her son, Chip Cresswell, both well-known interior designers in the Wilmington area.
Barbara Cresswell's daughter, Kim Cresswell, recently joined the interior design firm as director of sales and marketing.
The store features such Drexel Heritage collections as Lillian August, Postobello, At Home in Tuscany, and upholstery and leather offerings with over 2,000 fabric and leather choices.
Barbara Cresswell started her full-service interior design firm over 30 years ago, and was joined by her son in 2001.
Drexel Heritage initiated its store program in 1972. The company, based in High Point, is part of Furniture Brands International's HDM Furniture Inds. business unit.
