Ultra-Guard offers care program for fine fabrics

San Clemente, Calif. — Fabric protection vendor Ultra-Guard has introduced its Premium Concierge Service for the care and maintenance of high-end upholstery, fabrics and exotic rugs.
According to the company, the service marries Ultra-Guard's fabric protection and stain removal technologies with the service of technicians.
"Caring for fine fabrics, such as silks or suede, requires not only great products but also great skill," said Rick Fleming, president. "Most cleaning services do not have the products or the know-how to properly clean and care for fine fabrics or exotic rugs, and a client runs the risk of having their one-of-a-kind pieces ruined through the inexperience of a technician."
Ultra-Guard has 34 service centers in 19 states and the District of Columbia and continues to add centers to its coverage area.
As part of the service, clients' furnishings and fabrics are evaluated and treated with the appropriate fabric protection formula.
The company said each formula is designed for certain fabric types and resists almost any type of stain without causing yellowing or other discoloration. It also says that the proprietary, environmentally friendly formulas reduce fading of fabrics and carpets through the addition of an ultraviolet inhibitor.
Besides protecting clients' high-end upholstery, fabrics and rugs, the company provides custom maintenance and care of fabrics on annual, semi-annual, quarterly and monthly schedules. It also provides round-the-clock service from its master fabric care technicians in the event of a stain or fabric emergency.
