Pinamonti is Universal VP

High Point — Dave Pinamonti has joined Universal Furniture as senior vice president of marketing and sales.

He comes to Universal from Broyhill, where he was senior vice president of sales since August 2005. Earlier, he held sales and marketing posts at A-America and Stanley Furniture.

"This is a very exciting opportunity for me because of, one, the people and management team at Universal," Pinamonti said in a statement. "Two, they have a great business model to further develop great relationships in the U.S."

He reports to Universal President and CEO Randy Chrisley.
