Kravet adds area rugs to line
Nicholas Lomangino hired as division VP

BETHPAGE, N.Y. — Kravet, a supplier of high-end fabrics, trims and furniture to the designer market, is moving into area rugs with the formation of its newest division, Kravet Floorcoverings.
The company has hired Nicholas Lomangino as vice president of the division.
He most recently was president and general manager of the Patterson, Flynn and Martin carpet division of F. Schumacher & Co. Earlier, he held executive positions with interior designer showrooms, agent showrooms, showroom leasing and designer licensing.
Kravet’s rug offering includes Tibetan, hand-knotted Orientals, Aubusson, and naturals including raffia and hemp carpets. The company also is working on a launch of carpets under its Lee Jofa brand.
