Simmons hires GM for Kids division
Products aimed at babies, children, teens

ATLANTA — Bedding major Simmons Co. has named George Bureau as general manager of Simmons Kids, its children’s bedding division.
In the newly created post, Bureau will oversee production of mattresses and sleep accessories for babies, children and teens. The division has factories in Neenah, Wis., York, Pa., and Los Angeles.
Bureau has more than 20 years of sales, marketing and product development experience. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager of the consumer products and services division of West Business Services, a marketing strategy and support company.
While at West, he developed and launched sales and retail marketing initiatives for several product companies, including makers of children’s and infant’s products.
“George’s rich experience in sales and marketing will be invaluable to Simmons Kids,” said Simmons President Gary Matthews.
