Patrick, Ramey joining PeopLoungers
Both have ownership stakes

NETTLETON, Miss. — Industry veterans Bill Patrick Sr. and Pat Ramey are joining motion upholstery specialist PeopLoungers in newly created positions as executive vice presidents and equity partners.
Patrick, most recently senior vice president of sales and marketing at manufacturer Jackson/Catnapper, is executive vice president of sales and merchandising.
Ramey, who most recently was with Industrial Timbers and previously worked for manufacturers Berkline and Jackson/Catnapper, will become executive vice president of manufacturing on March 12.
PeopLoungers also has promoted of Lisa Goolsby to director of marketing. She has worked in the company’s marketing and merchandising department for more than five years.
In addition, Danny Bowman has joined the company as sales manager, responsible for Georgia and Tennessee. A 20-year industry veteran, Bowman was with Jackson/Catnapper and Berkline.
Patrick will oversee corporate sales and coordinate with production and sourcing efforts. He will develop and merchandise a core product assortment, in addition to exclusive retailer-specific products.
He also will focus on expanding the company’s international sourcing capabilities and balancing and nurturing its domestic manufacturing facility.
“With Patrick’s expertise on sourcing, logistics and widely respected ability to develop product that is market-oriented and geared for today’s consumer and immediate sales, PeopLoungers will be strategically poised to continue to excite our current customer base as well as to appeal to an additional tier of business opportunities,” said company President Jimmy Green.
Patrick had been with Jackson/Catnapper from 1999 until his resignation this January, and also worked for the company from 1991 to 1995. His responsibilities will be divided among other Jackson/Catnapper sales executives, according to the company.
Green said Ramey’s manufacturing expertise “will be invaluable to PeopLoungers adding newer, modern manufacturing methods to compete globally.”
