New York — Miresco Decorative Rugs will introduce a rug collection this month based on the lifestyle of real estate and TV entrepreneur Donald Trump in a licensed program.
The Trump Home rug collection will debut at the High Point Market in Miresco's new showroom at 126 S. Centennial St., space 300. The market opens March 26.
The rugs will include traditional and transitional designs and will be available in more than 40 sizes and colorways. They will be made of New Zealand wool, and wool with silk highlights, and will feature hand-tufted and hand-knotted constructions.
The sizes offered will range from 5 by 8 to 10 by 14 and include runners, round and square options.
The rugs, in a variety of constructions and price points, will be distributed through furniture retailers, department stores and independent retailers. They are expected to reach stores this summer.
The real estate entrepreneur took part in the design of the rugs, which were inspired by Trump's homes and other properties.
"My inspiration for the collection was to create affordable rugs that are sophisticated in design and made from luxurious fabrics," said Trump. "A coordinated effort of furniture, rugs and accessories makes the decision-making process easier for home owners looking to update their homes."
Coordinating decorative rugs with branded furniture collections makes the process easier for consumers to achieve a stylish and well-balanced look, said Amir Mireskandari, Miresco's president and CEO.
Lexington Home Brands will introduce the Trump Home furniture line at the upcoming High Point market.
