Catterton joins Powell in Southeast

Had been at PeopLoungers, Jackson/Catnapper

CULVER CITY, Calif. — Industry veteran Charles “Chuck” Catterton has been named vice president of sales in the Southeast region at Powell Co.

Catterton most recently was vice president of sales at upholstery producer PeopLoungers. Earlier, he spent 20 years in various sales and management positions at upholstery producer Jackson/Catnapper.

He began his career at JCPenney and eventually became the retailer’s general merchandise manager.

At Powell, Catterton will focus on opening new major accounts and developing more business with the company’s existing accounts in the region.
