CB2 provides furnishings for MTV series

Chicago — CB2 is getting real.
The modern home furnishings line from retailer Crate & Barrel has provided furnishings for "The Real World: Denver," the latest version of the MTV television series.
Charles Aubry, production designer for the show, said the CB2 furniture and home accents offered a balance with the home's Rocky Mountain-inspired decor. One piece he used was the versatile Annex sectional, placed in two rooms in different sizes and shapes.
"I especially like CB2's collection because of its vibrant colors and modern comfort," said Aubry. "The simple, classic feel of the bedroom sets complemented the naturalistic design of each room."
Chicago-based Crate & Barrel opened its first CB2 store in Chicago in 2000 and now has two stores in the city. CB2 also has a catalog and a Web site at www.cb2.com, where consumers can see the products used on the MTV show.
