Norwalk appoints Light

Norwalk, Ohio — Eric Light has been named director of customer and distribution services for Norwalk Furniture, a new position.
He will have responsibility for the customer service, quality and transportation departments at Norwalk. The company said a primarily objective for Light is to expand the company's distribution and transportation network capabilities.
"Eric brings an extensive background to the position, which will enable us to synchronize and enhance the full portfolio of products and services that we offer our customers," said Rick McKirahan, president.
Before joining Norwalk, Light was at W.W. Grainger Corp., where he was strategic account manager, national sales training manager and district sales manager. He previously was at UPS, where he was operations manager, account executive, senior pricing and marketing manager and customer services and sales manager.
