Louisiana retailer launches Serta mattress store

Monroe, La. — The Allen family has opened a 2,500-square-foot America's Mattress sleep shop here showcasing more than 25 Serta mattresses.
The new specialty store serves northeastern Louisiana.
Store owners Barry and Debbie Allen work alongside their son Daniel, his wife Lora and Debbie's parents, Robert and Odessa Dolan.
Barry and Debbie Allen also own and operate Allen's Furniture in Monroe, which features an America's Mattress gallery in the store.
Serta, based in Hoffman Estates, Ill., is the third-largest U.S. mattress manufacturer, marketing such lines as the Perfect Sleeper, the upscale Perfect Day and the Vera Wang by Serta Collection.
The company has 26 U.S. and four Canadian factories, and distributes in 60 other countries.
