The classically carved frame is capped with a gilded bow and the back and seat rails feature a continuous guilloche motif. Gilded acanthus adorns the scrolled arms. Baluster turnings support the settee back. The seat is covered in raw silk with antique brass nailhead trim. A carved rosette rests above turned and fluted legs.

Oxford chest, $1,299, is a 17th century design in solid oak. Features include moldings on the drawer fronts. Supported by bun feet, the chest is adorned with antique brass teardrop pulls.

Gothic console, $1,099, is an unusual side table of unknown European origin, in solid cherry. A generous top surface is mirrored by a bottom shelf supported by turned and reeded legs. Gothic cutouts lend character. Also features two working drawers with antique brass scallop shell handles.

Elise side table, $649, in cherry solids, is a French table inspired by Provincial Louis XV style. A generous drawer is framed by carved molding and the table features a pullout shelf. The shaped apron rail is bordered by a hand-carved bead that runs the length of the tapering, with cabriole legs.

Chesapeake Bay architect's cabinet, $5,499, is crafted of solid oak. It features glass-paned doors that lock for security and open to four shelves with adjustable supports. Details include beveled top, side moldings and antique brass hardware. Also features two pullout shelves set above four shallow map drawers and eight deep drawers.
