IHFRA to offer several services at market

High Point — The International Home Furnishings Representatives Assn. again will offer an array of services during this month's High Point Market.

The organization's office in the International Home Furnishings Center's Main Wing, lower level, will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. from Saturday, March 24, through Sunday, April 1.

Services available through IHFRA during market include:

Pager rental, at $44.95 for the duration of market. Pagers must be reserved in advance by calling the IHFRA office at (336) 889-3920.
Free legal counsel for IHFRA members will be available Thursday, March 29, from 1 until 5 p.m. Call the office to schedule an appointment.
All current Opportunity Center ads will be available for IHFRA members seeking additional lines. Manufacturers are encouraged to post job openings before market.
Insurance Specialists Inc. representative Nathan Gardner will be available Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25. ISI has added discounted long-term care insurance for IHFRA members to the existing offerings of accident and sickness disability, comprehensive accident coverage and group term life.
Representatives of Craft Insurance and Shenandoah Life will be in the IHFRA office Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25, to explain the new dental plan and answer questions about dental insurance.
Alan Maine of Office Depot will be available Sunday, March 25, and Tuesday, March 27, to answer questions about the store's discount, tell about new printing options available, and make free luggage tags from members' business cards.
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage will have representatives in the office Saturday through Tuesday, March 24–27, to discuss home mortgage needs. Wells Fargo offers discounts up to $1,000 total benefit per loan per member.
AFLAC representative Kris Andrews will answer questions on AFLAC's accident plan on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25.

A discount code for the Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino for the July Las Vegas Market will be available for IHFRA members only. All other discount codes for hotels and car rentals are available on the IHFRA Web site, www.ihfra.org.

The association also will host several market social events, including the Presidential Gala and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, March 24; the Furniture Industry Awards Gala (co-hosted with the National Home Furnishings Assn.) on Tuesday, March 27; the IHFRA Market Social on Wednesday, March 28; and the Tri-State Chapter Market Social on Thursday, March 29.
