WHFA offers discounted conference travel rates

Roseville, Calif. — The Western Home Furnishings Assn.'s 2007 Conference and Tradeshow is scheduled for May 6–8 at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Palm Springs, Calif.
Group rates are available for travel to the golf resort, which is accessible from the Los Angeles International Airport, the Ontario Airport and Palm Springs Airport.
Attendees can take advantage of conference discounts offered through United Airlines on travel booked 30 days in advance. In addition, Avis car rental has partnered with the WHFA to offer a preferred rate. Discounted shuttle and group shuttle taxi rates are available as well.
For Southern California retailers, WHFA is offering "Daily Drive-in Specials," valid May 7–8. Special rates are available on single days to encourage local retailers' participation.
Early Bird discounts and group registration rates are available prior to April 2 for the full conference package. The package includes all planned group meals, educational functions, tradeshow admission, and a DVD of all educational events, sponsored by CDS Solutions Group. Registration does not include the golf tournament or other activities.
