Rowsey retires from La-Z-Boy

Greensboro, N.C. — Industry veteran Harry Rowsey has retired from his post as vice president of information technology, case goods, for La-Z-Boy Greensboro after 41 years in the business.
Rowsey started his career at Lea Inds., now a division of La-Z-Boy Greensboro, as a programmer.
A retirement party held for Rowsey at the Four Seasons Sheraton here drew key executives from his past, including Dick Allen, owner of Lighthouse Financial and co-founder, former CEO and chairman of Ladd Furniture, which was acquired by La-Z-Boy.
Also present was Dave Ogren, director of business development for Planex International and a former president of Ladd's American Drew, and Beverly Davis, former president of Ladd Transportation.
Peggy McPartlan, IT project manager, and Dave Carpenter, director of financial services for La-Z-Boy Greensboro, organized the event.
