Woodworking event open for registration

City of Commerce, Calif. — The Woodworking Industry Conference, set for April 25–28 at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Fla., is open for registration.
Following its theme of "Retooling America — Business Practices to Maximize Your Success," the conference will provide education, discussions, forums and networking to executives, directors and managers from the wood processing industry who are members of the Assn. of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers, the Wood Component Mfrs. Assn., the Woodworking Machinery Industry Assn. or Wood Machinery Mfrs. of America.
Keynote speaker Howard Putnam, former CEO of Southwest Airlines, will address the opening general session on how bottom line improvement is the key to a company's long-term success.
