SmartFurniture.com expanding office, warehouse space

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — SmartFurniture.com, an online seller of contract and residential furniture, is tripling its downtown office space here and has expanded into a 50,000-square-foot warehouse space, according to a report by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
The move was fueled by the retailer's rapid growth and expected growth, President and CEO T.J. Gentle told the paper. He said revenues for the e-commerce retailer grew 61% last year and were on track to increase by 40% this year, but did not disclose sales figures.
SmartFurniture.com features an online room planner tool called SmartSpace that enables users to see how their customized furniture will look in their own space.
