NAPLES, Fla. - Jennifer ann de Lignieres and Pamela Raabe, interior designers who each have more than 20 years of experience, have joined the design team at Clive Daniel Home here.
De Lignieres has been nationally recognized for her interior design work for luxury properties, according to a release by the upscale retailer. She is also co-owner of the West End Paradise, a bed and breakfast on Sanibel Island, Fla., and is a residential and commercial real estate agent.
She has worked as a designer and sales associate in the hospitality industry for clients including the Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, film industry celebrities and CEOs.
Raabe, an interior designer with 23 years of experience in assisting residential customers, is a California native who spent most of her career designing interiors for homes in Carmel, Saratoga and Monte Sereno, Calif.
She also has worked as a retail sales associate in the furnishings industry. In addition, she worked for Thomasville and Ethan Allan as project manager for the renovation of luxury model homes.
She worked with a local furniture store in the Naples area before joining Clive Daniel Home.
MARSHFIELD, Wis. - Custom upholstery manufacturer Marshfield Furniture has hired Al Clement as a territory sales representative for of Michigan.
Clement has held sales management positions with Leath Furniture and Mersman Waldron and was territory sales manager for Restonic Mattress of Escanaba. He also currently represents Eagle Furniture in Michigan.
"Al possesses the qualities of a high-caliber territory sales representative and will provide his retailers the very best guidance to analyze their needs and establish customer confidence in meeting those needs thru effective product presentation and outstanding customer service," said Marc Levy, chief operating officer of Marshfield Furniture.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Nationwide East has added three industry veterans to its growing team of territory managers, a move it says will allow the buying and marketing group to provide increased service and have stronger relationships with members.
David Crow, Dean Hanby and Mike Hauer have years of experience dealing with independent retailers, the group said. They will spend most of their time in the field calling on Nationwide East members, although the states each will cover are still being established.
"We simply needed more horsepower in the field," said David Robison, co-director of Nationwide East, a division of Nationwide Marketing Group. "Communicating Nationwide's exclusive Whirlpool-GE and Frigidaire programs in the eastern third of the United States requires a physical presence throughout our region. Nationwide's huge growth in furniture and bedding programs had our existing staff stretched too thin."
Crow previously worked for Coon's in Woodland, Texas, and A1 Appliance in New Orleans. Hanby was previously with DSI in Orlando, Fla., and Hauer was with Toshiba. All report to Robison.
ATLANTA - Pure LatexBliss has hired bedding veteran Jim Puhnaty to lead sales in the company's Northeast division.
Puhnaty, a 25-year bedding executive, most recently was a key account manager at Park Place Corp. Before that, he was with International Bedding Corp. for eight years, where he worked his way up from account executive to key account manager, and earlier was a district manager for Mattressland and general sales manager at Mattress & Carpet Outlet.
"Jim's sales and managerial skills are extremely impressive and he will be a great asset to the company. He is a proven leader with a long history of sales success," said Kurt Ling, president of Pure LatexBliss. "His broad base of customer relationships will help us grow our brand in the Northeast."

HIGH POINT - Rick Evans has been named president of Samuel Lawrence Hospitality, a division of Home Meridian International.
He replaces Quinn Decker, who has resigned from SLH.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - Home furnishings veteran Bryan Tickle has been named a sales representative for Jamison Bedding, responsible for North Carolina and South Carolina.
Tickle, who reports to Ken Hinman, senior vice president of sales and marketing, most recently was a sales and marketing representative for a number of furniture and mattress producers serving Southeastern states.
From 1995 to 2011 he was a senior sales and marketing representative for furniture producer Berkline, covering the Carolinas in addition to parts of Virginia, Georgia and Florida.
"We're very excited about Bryan's seasoned experience managing retail customers, as well as the sales performance record he achieved over the past 17 years," Hinman said. "In addition, his proven capabilities in local advertising and promotion, product merchandising and customer problem- solving will maximize his service to Jamison retailers and help expand our brand and business in those states."
HIGH POINT - Leather supplier Universal Leather has named Jeffrey Shears its West Coast account representative.
Shears has more than 30 years experience in sales and sales management, including more than two decades in the leather business.
Most recently, he spent 12 years as a regional sales manager with Lackawanna Leather. Earlier, he was with New York-based Anthem Leather and Demar Leather.
