La-Z-Boy adds 3 more stores

Monroe, Mich. — Upholstery and case goods maker and importer La-Z-Boy, based here, has opened freestanding gallery stores in California, Georgia and Massachusetts.
In Costa Mesa, Calif., the 16,400-square-foot La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store is at the southwest corner of Hyland and Sunflower avenues at Interstate 405. It's the 11th La-Z-Boy store in metro Los Angeles. The new store is owned by John Walz.
In Atlanta, a La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store has opened on Olde Perimeter Way, across from the Perimeter Mall. This is the seventh La-Z-Boy store in the Atlanta area. The 14,416-square-foot unit is co-owned by Tom DeGoey, Bob Breunig and Ed Breunig III.
In Plymouth, Mass., a dedicated La-Z-Boy store has opened at Colony Place, the ninth in metro Boston. The 17,200-square-foot store is managed by David Higgins.
All the stores offer a wide selection of La-Z-Boy recliners, chairs and sofas in hundreds of cover choices, as well as occasional and accent furniture, lighting, wall décor and rugs.
