McIntosh gets Brookwood sales post
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 25, 2007
High Point — Upholstery manufacturer and importer Brookwood Furniture is set to open a West Coast distribution center, and has hired industry veteran Don McIntosh to lead the company's Western sales team.
The 200,000-square-foot facility in Chico, Calif., will allow Brookwood to service retailers in the West and its growing dealer base buying direct containers of upholstery and occasional tables.
The new distribution center joins the company's Mississippi warehouse and quick-ship facility.
McIntosh, a former principal of Landmark Upholstery, reports to Tim Howard, Brookwood's executive vice president of sales.
