The Carolinas Chapter of the International Furnishings & Design Assn. is inviting members and friends to several events at this week's market.

IFDA members and others in the interior design community can attend a Welcome Cocktail Reception on Tuesday, March 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 200 Steele. Sponsors include the High Point Market Authority, 200 Steele, Hamilton Wrenn Design District, High Point Design Center, J. Basul Noble's Restaurant and Relish/Home Accents Today.

On Thursday, March 29, the chapter will host a market breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the 200 Steele Cafe.

The cost is $10 and reservations may be made by calling (336) 885-5266. The chapter also hosts an IFDA hospitality area at the 200 Steele Cafe during market for networking, information and relaxing.

Also, two designer luncheons are scheduled at the International Home Furnishings Center, on the 11th floor Club Level.

At noon Tuesday, March 27, color and trend consultant Leatrice Eiseman will present "Color Trends: The Most Directional Future Palettes." A book signing will follow.

On Wednesday, March 28, designer Barclay Butera will discuss "Creating a Client for Life."

Cost of each luncheon program is $15 and advance reservations are strongly recommended. Call (336) 888-3754.
