Stanley names Wenke product manager for Young America line

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 25, 2007

Stanley Furniture has hired Curtis Wenke as product manager of Young America, the wood furniture manufacturer and importer's youth furniture division.

He will oversee product development and manage the line.

In this new post, Wenke will supervise the development process, including introductions, product line profitability, product quality and marketplace analysis.

He reports to Glenn Prillaman, senior vice president of marketing and sales.

Wenke previously was director of marketing for two divisions with tabletop and flatware source Oneida. While there, he worked to increase brand awareness and sales through the development of new collections. Earlier, he was a director of product sourcing and development for Lenox, and a product manager with Mikasa.

"Curtis brings tremendous creativity, marketing and product development expertise to Stanley Furniture," Prillaman said in a statement. "With his help, we look forward to finding innovative ways to expand our product line while continuing to profitably provide the best product in the youth category with excellent quality and service."
