Payne to speak at ASFD dinner Tuesday

High Point — The American Society of Furniture Designers will welcome Michael Payne as keynote speaker at its spring market dinner Tuesday, March 27, at the High Point Country Club.
Payne has a furniture design partnership with the Powell Co. and also works with companies such as Benjamin Moore, Merrill Lynch and Wickes Furniture in promoting products.
He is the host and interior designer on HGTV's "Designing for the Sexes" and offers his interior design services internationally. Payne also has been a guest on other television and radio shows, teaches a design seminar at UCLA, and published his first book, "Let's Ask Michael," in 2003.
ASFD's dinner begins with a 6 p.m. cocktail reception and is open to all marketgoers, including non-ASFD members. Tickets are $55 in advance, and seating is limited. Registration may be made via e-mail at info@asfd.com or by phone at (910) 576-1273.
