Television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of the popular "Dr. Oz Show," put the Dr. Breus Signature Bed from Sleepy's on his Hot List on a recent show. The bed is produced by International Bedding in partnership with The Sleep Doctor, Michael Breus.

Oz got comfortable on the bed on his show, talking about its TempSense material, which adjusts the bed's temperature based on how hot or cool a person sleeps.

He also announced, to cheers and applause from his audience, that everyone in the audience would be getting a free Dr. Breus bed from Sleepy's. The value of the bed was listed as $2,249. Click here to watch the segment.

Although Breus wasn't on the show when the beds were given away, he has been a regular guest, appearing six times. And the two talked several times before the show was taped. Oz "wanted to make sure he was well versed in the design, development and benefits of the bed," said a spokesperson for Breus.

The Hot List is a list of "foods, products and tools that make living a healthy lifestyle a whole lot easier," according to the Dr. Oz web site. It says of the Dr. Breus bed: "A good night's sleep is critical to your health. Not sleeping well or enough has been linked to obesity, depression and diabetes. Get some shuteye with the Dr. Breus Signature Bed from Sleepy's. This mattress is made with TempSense, a material that adjusts the temperature based on how hot or cool you are as you sleep. Only your side of the bed changes so your partner can sleep comfortably as well."

Oz also said the bed is backed with a House Call program that keeps consumers in touch with Breus so they can get sleep tips and information from him.
