By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 15, 2007

Luxury composite fabric manufacturer Valtekz has added two executives and promoted another as its to-the-trade business continues to expand.

Samantha Levine has been named Northeastern manager of the to-the-trade-division. She also continues to manage Valtekz's customer service and quality control departments. Before joining Valtekz, she was bridal production manager at noted fashion house Vera Wang.

Brandon Wells has joined Valtekz as Pacific and Southeastern manager of the to-the-trade division. She also will oversee development and production of collateral and branding materials in the company's marketing department. Before joining Valtekz, Wells was an event designer and sales manager at two historic properties in Charlotte.

Gary McKee has joined Valtekz as Midwest and Western manager of the to-the-trade division. He also will head initiatives in logistics and product development.

Before joining Valtekz, McKee worked in design and sales at high-end retailer Boyles Furniture in Charlotte.

Valtekz is represented exclusively to the trade in 34 U.S. showrooms. Its products also are sold to manufacturers of premium home furnishings, yachts, aircraft and custom automobiles.
