WMC hires 3 in operations, collections, special events

Las Vegas — The World Market Center has added three employees as it prepares for the summer Las Vegas Market, set for July 30–Aug. 3.
Sean Doane has joined the WMC as operations manager, Esmeralda Dominguez is collections manager and Christine Gargano is in the newly created position of special events coordinator.
Doane will manage, plan and institute policies and procedures on trade show and event operations, and will report to Michelle Monteferrante, director of trade show operations. Doane has worked in the convention industry for over nine years, most recently at Freeman Cos. in Las Vegas and Czarnowski Exhibit Service in Atlanta.
Dominguez had been a credit and collections specialist with Caltrol Inc. and a collections specialist with Safari International, both in Las Vegas. She will report to the WMC's director of accounting, Kathy Venezia.
Gargano has 11 years experience in management, operations, merchandising and production. Former employers include the Clark County School District, Rage Clothing Store, Escada Company Store and D19 Productions/Wiggles Live, all in the Las Vegas area. She will work under the direction of special events manager Laurie Dorough.
