Monroe, Mich. — Sue White has joined Bauhaus, a division of La-Z-Boy, in a consultant capacity to assist in setting the sales and merchandise direction for the contemporary upholstery maker.
The industry veteran spent the past 16 years with Alan White Co., where she was executive vice president of merchandising and design.
"We are excited and honored to have Sue White working with us at Bauhaus," said Britt Allred, senior vice president of sales and marketing. "She has always been regarded as one of the most talented people in our industry."
In other moves, Bauhaus has promoted Greg Morgan to director of merchandising, where he will be responsible for the merchandising of fabrics and leather. Morgan, who has been with the company for two years, most recently served as merchandising manager.
Prior to joining Bauhaus, he was a sales representative with Mastercraft fabrics.
Bauhaus also has promoted Linda Dowdy to key accounts manager from sales administration manager. In her new role, her duties will expand to include directing the company's sales training efforts as well as pursuing new business opportunities.
"We congratulate Greg and Linda for their well-deserved promotions," said Allred. "They both play a vital role in our sales and merchandising organization."
