Mattress Firm enters Las Vegas with Bedtime acquisition

Las Vegas — Mattress Firm has completed the acquisition of Bedtime Mattress Co., based here. Bedtime has 15 stores in the greater Las Vegas market, operating under the Bedtime and Mattress Direct names.
With the acquisition, Houston-based Mattress Firm enters the state of Nevada and becomes the largest mattress retailer in Las Vegas, the company said. Nationwide, Mattress Firm how has nearly 370 stores in 33 markets across 20 states.
"Our commitment is to build Bedtime's solid reputation of great products, value and service by bringing our unique retail experience, sleep expertise and the broadest selection of products and brands in the industry to these locations," said Gary Fazio, CEO of Mattress Firm.
Mattress Firm carries a full line of mattresses, including Sealy, Simmons, Tempur-Pedic and Stearns & Foster.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
