Valdese, N.C. — Jason Earles has joined fabric supplier Valdese Weavers as sales manager for its Valdese International Products, or VIP, division, a new position.
He previously was national sales manager for the piece goods division of the Robert Allen Group. He began his textiles career in 1999 as a sales representative with P/Kaufmann and Braemore.
At Valdese, Earles reports to Joel Crisp, vice president of global operations.
Crisp said Earles' experience and background will help expand distribution as the company grows its VIP division, which sells the company's imported product line.
"He will coordinate activities with the existing sales force with emphasis on customer interface," Crisp said.
Earles said the VIP division "provides another opportunity for growth for the company and further expands their product offerings for the customers."
