Pulaski, Va. — Pulaski Furniture has promoted Dallas George to the new position of vice president of accents.
He joined the company in early 2006 as a special task force member in charge of development for the company's value-priced Keepsakes Home case goods line. He also developed a sales and distribution plan for the launch of the Build-A-Bear Workshop Home Collection.
Last November, George was named vice president of marketing.
Before joining Pulaski, he was vice president of retail development at Lexington Home Brands, and worked in sales management during his 20 years at Thomasville Furniture.
He reports to Pulaski President Don Mitchell.
Janet McPeake, who has been with Pulaski 15 years and most recently was associate brand manager, will take over some of George's duties as marketing manager, a new position. McPeake, who reports to Mitchell, will continue to work with Pulaski's brand partners as well as handle marketing tasks.
