DeRose joins Magnussen

High Point — James V. DeRose has been named to the new position of vice president of merchandising for Magnussen Home Furnishings.
He will oversee product development and manage, lead and develop the merchandising team. He reports to Nathan Cressman, vice president of merchandising and design.
DeRose has worked in the industry in merchandising, retail, marketing, design and manufacturing. Before joining Magnussen, he was merchandise manager for wood products for Lane Furniture Inds., and has held posts with SLF, Sears HomeLife, Alari SRL and European Furniture Warehouse.
"Jim's wide-ranging experience, terrific eye for product and team-oriented attitude make him a valuable addition to Magnussen Home," Cressman said.
