Wickes opens fourth store in Portland, Ore.
Grand opening will feature radio personalities

KEIZER, Ore. — Wickes Furniture has opened a 40,000-square-foot store here, its fourth in the Portland, Ore., area.
Wheeling, Ill.-based Wickes, a Top 100 company, will have a grand opening at the store June 9 featuring 10 local radio personalities, free furniture, gift cards and hourly discounts. Designer Michael Payne, star of HGTV’s “Designing for the Sexes,” will visit the store from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 9.
The showroom is at 6365 Ulali Drive N.E., in the new Keizer Station retail development.
“We’re proud to be expanding our presence in the greater Portland area,” said Wickes CEO John Disa. “The region — which already includes successful Wickes Furniture stores in Clackamas, Delta Park and Tigard — has been highly supportive of our company. In turn, our goal is to make shopping at Wickes a truly enjoyable experience, and enable our customers to easily and affordably bring to life the homes of their dreams.”
The Keizer store features large glass facades, brick, brushed metal, wood trim and other embellishments to showcase the company’s furniture. Regular showroom hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
