HIGH POINT - High-end case goods and upholstery resource Dorya has named Steven Avitable vice president of sales, a new position with the company.
He was most recently senior director of furniture galleries for Ralph Lauren Home and also worked as the brand manager for the sales team of E.J. Victor, which has the Ralph Lauren Home license. He previously worked as vice president of business development for Christopher Guy and held other executive posts at Robert Allen Fabrics and retailer Gabbert's Furniture.
Avitable reports to F. Doruk Yorgancioglu, Dorya's president and CEO, and will oversee U.S. and international sales efforts.
"Steven's career accomplishments and focus in the luxury marketplace is a great asset for our brand," Yorgancioglu said. "Steven brings an understanding of the ultra-affluent customers' requirements along with an appreciation of relationship selling to his new position with the Dorya brand."
Dorya shows here in 200 Steele, space 144.
