Ken Mullinax named VP at Englander Northwest

TUALATIN, Ore. — Bedding veteran Ken Mullinax has joined Englander Northwest, based here, as vice president of sales and marketing.
Mullinax, who has spent 37 years in the bedding and home furnishings industries at both the retail and wholesale levels, will report to John Hagglund, president of Englander Northwest.
Before joining the Englander organization, Mullinax was the owner of 24 sleep shops in Washington and Idaho, which were sold to Sleep Train USA in late 2011. Before that, Mullinax worked for Serta from 1991 to 2000 as vice president of sales and marketing in southern California, and later as company's regional vice president for the western U.S.
Earlier in his career, he was vice president of sales from 1986 to 1991 for the former Spring Air Co. in southern California and earlier spent 15 years as a furniture buyer for JCPenney, based in southern California and Alaska.
