AMBLER, Pa. — International Market Centers CEO Robert Maricich is the Tri-State Home Furnishings Assn.'s 2013 Person of the Year.
Maricich was selected due to his vision and development of the strategy to create the merger of the International Home Furnishings Center, ShowPlace properties, Market Square properties in High Point and the World Market Center in Las Vegas, officials said.
Prior to joining World Market Center in 2008, Maricich served in executive roles at several manufacturers.

Other awards also will be presented, including retailer and representative of the year, the Congeniality Award, and honors for display and advertising, as well as senior service and youth recognition.
As announced earlier, Ken Gilberg, Tri-State HFA's preferred counsel, will receive the Humanitarian Award for his work with charitable groups.
Ed Myers will receive the Hall of Fame honor this year. He is past president of Tri-State group and the International Home Furnishings Representatives Assn., and continues to serve IHFRA as financial advisor and has remained active on Tri-State HFA's board of directors.
