HIGH POINT — Furniture/Today has named Jodi Brookshire as Western regional sales manager for Furniture/Today and sister publication Kids Today.

Brookshire, who replaces Don Wingate, will have sales responsibilities for Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

She will be responsible for print, online and event-driven initiatives for both titles.

She reports to Kevin Castellani, president and publishing director of the Sandow Media division that includes both publications.

Prior to joining Sandow Media, Brookshire was with the Paxton Media Group, where she was publisher of the High Point Enterprise, a regional daily newspaper in High Point. She was responsible for the operation of the paper as well as for weekly companion publications, digital products and other print and online initiatives.

Before joining Paxton Media Group, Brookshire was publisher of The Daily Courier in Forest City, N.C., and The Laurinburg Exchange in Laurinburg, N.C.

"We are excited to have Jodi, who brings a wealth of experience in both advertising and marketing, to the Sandow team," said Castellani. "I am confident that her skills in consultative sales and strategic planning will allow her to take her territories on both titles to new levels."

"As someone who is originally from the West Coast, this is the perfect opportunity for me to use my familiarity with the territory and my background in sales, advertising and marketing to help create innovative and impactful strategies for my customers," Brookshire said.

"Both Furniture Today and Kids Today are respective leaders in their fields and I am excited to be part of these dynamic publications," she added.

She can be reached at jbrookshire@furnituretoday.com and at (336) 605-1035.
