LAS VEGAS — Solid wood case goods manufacturer Whittier Wood Furniture is taking its first permanent space at the Las Vegas Market next week.
Whittier has shown at the market since 2008, but the new 2,100-square-foot space in World Market Center B-560 is more than twice the size of the company's previous temporary locations.
"Over the years, Whittier has grown steadily so we need a larger area to properly showcase our offerings," said Conni Barofsky, marketing manager. "Another benefit of our new environment is that it is much more comfortable and inviting. And maybe even more importantly, now the quality of presentation more appropriately equals the quality of our product."
Among the company's introductions this market is a mantel storage bed made for adjustable bed bases that is an addition to the McKenzie collection. The company is also showing a new two-drawer bench with a bonded leather padded seat and a 75-inch master dresser with two lined jewelry drawers and other storage capacity.
