Lifestyle sets Virginia golf event July 16–18

High Point — Furniture importer Lifestyle Enterprise is planning its second summer golf event for its top customers.
After visiting Pinehurst in North Carolina last year, the case goods and leather importer is moving to The Homestead in Virginia's Appalachian Mountains for the July 16–18 outing.
The event is more of a "thank you" to the company's top 35 retailers than it is a sales opportunity, said James Riddle, Lifestyle's managing director.
However, Lifestyle will take samples for a sneak preview of 15 new leather groups and a mix of 10 to 12 bedroom or dining groups.
Riddle noted that Conde Nast Traveler this year ranked The Homestead ninth on its list of the top 100 golf resorts. And four of the eight ranked higher are in Hawaii, he said, so this is about as good as it gets in the Mid-Atlantic.
For those who don't golf, the resort and surrounding area, about 75 miles west of Roanoke, also offer kayaking, spas, tennis, horseback riding, fly fishing and more.
