Simmons makes visco move

Atlanta — Bidding to boost its business in the specialty sleep arena, Simmons has signed an agreement to acquire the Comfor-Pedic line of memory foam mattresses and pillows.
Comfor-Pedic officials will head a new specialty sleep division that Simmons is forming to aggressively grow its business in the segment. The Simmons Natural Care latex line will be managed by that division.
