England adds two galleries

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, July 9, 2007

Upholstery maker England has installed Custom Comfort Center galleries in two stores, in Kentucky and Indiana.

Oak Factory in Nicholasville, Ky., has a 4,100-square-foot England gallery in its 20,000-square-foot store.

The store, owned by Mike and Denisa Cooper, has been in business for 15 years. England is its sole upholstery source.

In Seymour, Ind., Furniture Liquidators has committed 4,000 square feet of its 34,000-square-foot store to England. This is owner John Otter's fourth Custom Comfort Center; the others are in stores in New Albany and Madison, Ind., and Louisville, Ky.

Furniture Liquidators, founded in 1964, has 12 stores in Kentucky and Indiana.

England, a subsidiary of La-Z-Boy, produces custom fabric and leather upholstery, and has been in business for over 40 years.
