Phoenix — Arizona specialty bedding retailer Bedmart has opened its 20th store in metro Phoenix and its 27th in the state.
The new unit is on West Northern Avenue here.
The 6,000-square-foot store offers a wide selection of brand-name mattresses from such companies as Simmons, Tempur-Pedic, Europa, Spring Air and Serta. Mario Veroni is the store manager.
Bedmart has a low-price guarantee. "Our commitment to fully satisfy each customer has fueled our growth," said CEO Chuck Kill.
The chain was launched in Tucson in 1988 by Chet Goldberg. The Goldberg family has been in business in Arizona since 1862, when his great-grandfather opened a general store in the Phoenix area.
